Artist's Comments

for :iconblazingfrost:'s birthday!
e_e ugh, next time i'll try acrylics. the inking made shading the scales nearly impossible. ):< oh, and all the gold parts and the red scales are glittery gold. you can't really tell in this picture.
and yes, i do know that it's not anatomically correct for a true chinese dragon. hind legs are a PAIN to draw on something that shouldn't have them at all!

wtf?
sdfjsdkfj this looks professional! go draw dragons (without feet) for a living!

i like the gold slashes around it. you used inking? whats that..?
i think whatever you used is better than acrylic though, because the paleness of it all makes it look a lot better i think.

heehee, aww shucks. i meant inking as in going over the sketch in microns. i guess outlining would be the same thing.

i use the pearl ex you gave me forever ago for everything!

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
